The Dust Air personal dust sampler was awarded a Gold Medal at the international invention exhibition in Hyderabad – the capital of the state of Telangana in India. The event took place over 01-03.12.2019.
The international innovation fair is organised by the government of the state of Telangana on the Deccan Plateau in south-east India, and it is also supported by various ministries, industry associations and the most important Indian research and development institutes. It provides a broad platform for the promotion of innovative technologies – from startup projects, through SMEs to large-scale industrial solutions – and it was established to facilitate their efficient implementation on the market.
Hyderabad is known as the “Indian Genome Valley” or “Cyber City”, and is currently a Mecca for IT companies such as Microsoft or Google. This doesn't come as a surprise, as India is a trillion dollar economy. The licensing of technologies on international markets is also an important goal for the Central Mining Institute.
Many business meetings with potential clients and partners were conducted during the GIG delegation’s stay in India, which was organised by Innovative Business Solutions. Among the key ones, it’s worth mentioning the meeting with the Chairman of the Telangana Water Resources Development Corporation and the Principal Secretary of the Industries & Commerce (I&C) and Information Technology (IT) Departments of the Telangana government.
