On 8 August 2025, in Hefei (China) Dr Jacek Skiba, at the invitation of the Chinese side, took part in the Scientific Symposium on Engineering and Technology for the Development and Utilisation of Deep Special Underground Spaces, organised by the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Organisation for Innovative Cooperation in Coal Safety and Precision Mining. This was the 8th annual symposium on engineering and technology 2025. The event was organised at the Anhui University of Science and Technology (AUST). During his lecture, Dr Skiba presented the GI-Mine project.
