The GIG Journal of Sustainable Mining has been included in the Scopus database!
The indexing covers volumes released since 2015. Scopus is one of the biggest international interdisciplinary databases. It contains over 71 million records from nearly 24 thousand journals and 166 thousand books. The database was made available in 2004 by the Elsevier publishing company. The creators of Scopus make sure to index publications of the highest quality. Journals that wish to apply for indexing are subjected to verification by the independent Scopus Content Selection and Advisory Board, while the already indexed journals are under constant monitoring concerning quality and are excluded from the database should the required quality be lost.
