On March 12, 2025, the Central Mining Institute – National Research Institute (GIG-PIB) hosted Prof. K’tso Nghargbu, Director of International Cooperation at Nasarawa State University in Nigeria.
During the meeting, discussions focused on opportunities for further strengthening scientific cooperation, particularly in the application of mining expertise in Nigeria. Special attention was given to prospective areas of collaboration, especially in the field of critical raw materials mining.
Joint efforts are planned to secure and implement research projects as well as to develop academic exchange in the fields of mining and environmental engineering.
