On 7 April 2016 the Central Mining Institute hosted a meeting with the representatives of China Coal Technology & Engineering Group, chaired by President CCTEG Mr. Wang Jinhua. The discussions covered issues related to technology in terms of the exploitation of coal seams, problems affecting the size of production and the impact of mining activities on the environment. At the end of the meeting both sides declared their willingness to sign an agreement of cooperation. Further work on the agreement will be continued at the next meeting when common research areas will be identified.
